Senior Electrical Project Manager (EPC – Power & Energy)

Are you a seasoned Project Manager who thrives on the complexity of utility-scale power and energy infrastructure? Want to lead a high-impact EPC project shaping the future of Australia's grid?

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to spearhead a major power and energy project. Whether you are local to South Australia or looking for a great FIFO/DIDO roster from Victoria, we want to hear from you.

📍 Location & Roster

  • Primary Location: South Australia (Project Site)

  • Arrangement: Local SA residents OR FIFO / DIDO from Victoria (attractive roster with travel covered).

The Role

As the Senior Electrical PM, you will own the end-to-end delivery of the electrical scope for a major EPC power project. You will manage everything from detailed design and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • EPC Delivery: Lead the execution of complex electrical packages (substations, grid connections, high-voltage equipment, or renewable integration) safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Contract & Commercial Management: Oversee EPC contract administration, manage subcontractors, variations, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, network service providers (NSPs), and internal engineering teams.

  • Safety & Quality: Champion a zero-harm culture on-site, ensuring strict adherence to Australian electrical standards and HSEQ regulations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 8+ years of Project Management experience, specifically delivering large-scale EPC power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (highly preferred) and/or a recognized Project Management qualification (PMBOK, Prince2).

  • Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Australian grid connection standards and dealing with local utilities/regulators.

  • Leadership: A proven track record of managing multidisciplinary site teams and driving subcontractor performance.

What’s in it for you?

  • Highly competitive salary package + site allowances + performance bonuses.

  • Full FIFO/DIDO support from Victoria (flights/travel and high-quality camp accommodation provided).

  • A career-defining project with a robust pipeline of future energy work.

  • A collaborative, safety-first culture that genuinely values its people.
